This program is typically offered some time after the Negotiation Skills Training Seminar mentioned above. The aim is mainly to reinforce the basic skills and work more in depth with real-life cases quoted by participants.
Preparation and Strategy. Sophisticated uses of the Scheme of Strategy. How to simplify complex situations and make them fit into the scheme.
Deal Design. How to calculate and communicate proposals in contract and partnership negotiations. Financial argumentation is part of these skills.
The Interest Phase. Query techniques in depht. The rational of each type of questions. Exercises in query techniques.
Difficult Counterparts. Going throug some case stories of very difficult situations and counterparts, we find solutions and experiment with different approaches.
Case coaching. Each participant brings a personal case and receives coaching in plenum.
Exercises. Negotiation exercises in pairs or small groups. Simulated negotiations. Exercise in deal design. Written exercises.
Roleplay Exercises Recorded on Video. The cases can be build over real situations from your organization, or delivered by us. Each group gets a case story and is invited to prepare the negotiation using the tools and schemes that have been presented during the program.
Each negotiation is recorded on video. After the roleplay exercise, parts of the exercises are reviewed in plenum for analyzes and discussion. Our focus is mainly on 3 topics: The Interest Phase, Bargaining Skills and Communication Skills. Each participant gets a chance to evaluate himself/herself and decide in what area he or she wants to improve especially in the nearest future.
Final Evaluation. Each participant evaluates his or her present level of expected productivity and decides what will be the next step of development.
